Lucozade Energy is teaming up with Three Ireland’s EStars to bring the country’s biggest amateur gaming competition online and on the road.
The drink’s giant has entered into a two-year collaboration to act as the Three Ireland’s EStars’ official soft drinks partner and, with the Three Ireland’s EStars’ league set to kick off in Dundalk’s Oriel Park on Wednesday, March 14th, finalists and fans alike will need to maintain their energy levels to see which players will become a new breed of champion.
The Three Ireland’s EStars League will see some of Ireland’s finest upcoming gaming talent contest League of Legends, the world’s biggest computer game, at a series of events across the country in a bid to secure the prize-pot of €20,000 and a trip to Las Vegas.
After battling it out over the League, the four top teams will take part in an epic final showdown in Dublin’s 3Arena on May 13th, featuring a host of special guests, including F2 Freestylers and Prodijig, and Lucozade Energy will be there, every step of the way.
Mags Byrne, of Three Ireland’s EStars, said: “We are delighted to partner with Lucozade Energy, a company that matches our vision in providing the growing Irish gaming scene with the stage it deserves. With the League set to launch in just over a week, we know Lucozade Energy will preserve everyone’s stamina, right up the Finals in the 3Arena in May.”
Aoife McGuigan, Marketing Manager Lucozade Energy added: “We’re delighted to be teaming up with Three Ireland EStars. It’s a really exciting time for the Lucozade Energy brand and this is a perfect fit”.
